Phailin - Cyclone or Monster

Cyclone Phailin :

Per Indian Meteriological Department (IMD), Cyclone Phailin made the landfall at 7 PM IST  near Gopalpur,Odissa (19.2700° N, 84.9200° E). This is one mega storm that ever hit Indian Peninsula, Storm Watcher,London says this to be Category 5 Storm with wind speeds over 220KMPH, that is like a huge wall of the super fast bullet train plowing through the area it makes the landfall. You just cannot imagine the havoc this is going to cause to life's  of people near the coastline  :

Mega Cyclone Phalin
a) Countless mangled houses losses could be close 100 Million INR.
b) Loss of crops over 300 Sq KM Area. Crops affected are coconut, dry fruits, paddy.
c)  Loss of livestock
d) And above all loss of human life

Government of India and State Government of  Odisha have evacuated close to 30000 people from affected areas, this should save some life from the direct impact of Cyclone Phalin but major concerns remain meaning once the storm passes through lack of food stock, fresh water and lavatory services generally cause cholera's, malaria's, flu's etc hope Medical Department is ready for this natural disaster. Advanced nations such as US had failed to provide  proper relief to it's citizens after equally big Hurricane Katrina, I am just worried about the preparedness of GOI relief efforts. Hope Gopalpur, Odisa survives this, lets us all pray for minimum loss of life and early passage of Cyclone Phailin

Cyclone Phailin - 2 Day Timeline 10/10/2013

IMD is unable to predict the Phalin's strength because of lack of technological prowess unlike the Joint Typhoon Warning Center, which says Phalin is becoming stronger and intense reminds them of their own Hurricane Katrina.

While intensifying, storm clouds have covered an area of 1,787,263 km², roughly half the area of Indian Subcontinent or about 15 Sri Lanka's stitched together, per Joint Typhoon Warning Center, Hawaii landfall could be close to Gopalpur, Odisa.

H2O over the Bay of Bengal are exceptionally warm right now—more than 28°C, which is just the threshold above for babysitting a perfect mega storm.

GOI has begun massive preparations evacuating over 250000 to safer zones, troops are ready to drop food packets, essential water, and medicines
